PAT CHAPMAN

Picture
Pat formed Reiver Facilitation to meet the needs of organisations and communities that are facing the challenge of change.

Pat has used his skills in bringing together people and ideas across the public, private and third sectors in a career spanning 25 years. He is passionate about transforming the lives and opportunities of children and young people and those that work with them through innovative work in schools.  This interest is also kept alive as Chair of Trustees at the Sightlines Initiative and a Trustee of Children North East.

Most recently Pat was Director of Schools for Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) a national organisation working to generate transformational programmes for children and young people across England to enhance their aspirations, achievements, skills and life chances.  In his role at CCE, he managed and developed the government’s flagship creative learning programme, Creative Partnerships – the programme fostered innovative long-term partnerships between more than 2000 schools and thousands of creative professionals each year. He was also responsible for developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders – developing and sustaining a network of 25 independent organisations and pulling together a community of 56 Schools of Creativity from across England.
